Finding a Solar Contractor

We are no longer installing solar systems, however we would like to offer a few good sources of referrals. As with any reference, we can not guarantee your success in hiring, but many have found these sources valuable. In order to continually enhance the future success of others, we ask that you feed back to us your experience in finding a good solar contractor through any of these sources. If you have comments please send them to us here and put “contractor feedback” in the subject line.

In the Northeast region of the US there are a few lists of contractors installing solar thermal and photovoltaic systems. Some are member-based, others fee-based,  and the rest are sponsored. We generally recommend selecting one of many standard designs that use certified components and are installed by an experienced contractor who adheres to industry standards.

We hope you find the following helpful.
